Service Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: March 20, 2026

Welcome to Your Braisen Chef, LLC. By paying your deposit or engaging our services, you (the "Client") agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure the highest level of culinary service and professional conduct for your event.

1. Booking and Payments

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date on Chef Reyaña Radcliff’s calendar.

Agreement of Service: Payment of the deposit acknowledges your adherence to the service date and these terms.

Balance: The remaining balance must be paid by the due date specified on your invoice.

Payment Plans: If a payment plan is utilized, payments must be made on time. A late fee of $20 per day will be applied to the final bill for any late payments.

Failure to Pay: Failure to adhere to the payment schedule may result in late penalties or immediate cancellation of services.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Client Cancellations:

Deposits become strictly non-refundable 72 hours after payment.

Cancellations made within 20 days of the event date are non-refundable, and the full remaining balance remains due.

Force Majeure (Acts of God): In the event of a government shutdown, extreme weather, or other "Acts of God," payments will be held for a rescheduled date. If the event cannot be rescheduled, refunds will not be issued for food already purchased/prepared or expenses incurred. Partial deposit refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Business Cancellations: If Your Braisen Chef, LLC must cancel, we will either hold funds for a new date or issue a full refund within 10 days.

Date Changes: Clients are allotted one (1) date change prior to the deposit and one (1) date change after the deposit is paid.

3. Menu and Guest Count

Menu Changes: All menu adjustments must be finalized at least 14 days prior to the service date. Changes may result in price differences or item substitutions based on availability.

Guest Count Increases: You must communicate guest count changes at least 14 days prior to the event. If the count increases, the invoice will be adjusted. Your Braisen Chef, LLC is not responsible for food shortages if actual attendance exceeds the final confirmed count.

Guest Count Decreases: No refunds are guaranteed if the guest count drops below the original quote, as we maintain a minimum buffer for quality and logistics.

4. Event Logistics

Arrival & Service: The Chef and team will arrive at least 1 hour prior to the start time. Standard service time is 2 hours (excluding setup/breakdown). Additional time must be arranged and paid for in advance.

Venue Requirements: The Client must ensure the venue provides ramp or elevator access for equipment.

Waste Management: Trash disposal expectations must be clearly communicated between the Venue staff and Your Braisen Chef, LLC.

Outside Food Policy: To ensure food safety and quality control, Your Braisen Chef, LLC must be the exclusive food provider for the event (excluding cakes or items pre-approved in writing). Bringing in outside catering/food voids this agreement; service will be terminated immediately without a refund.

5. Refunds and Gratuity

Refund Policy: Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We do not offer refunds for food already purchased or for venue-related issues occurring on the day of the event.

Venue Issues: If venue issues prevent the event from occurring, no refund will be issued. A new invoice will be required to rebook.

Gratuity: Gratuity is not included in the contract total but is greatly appreciated. All tips are divided equally among the service staff.
